March 2020: Character of the Month – Commander Nicole Levesque

This month we will be looking at Captain Burton’s first right hand woman: Commander Nicole Levesque! The woman that stepped up to succeed Lloyd Burton as first officer when he was made Captain of Challenger! Here are five facts about her!

  1. Nicole comes from a large family – two older sisters, one older brother and a younger brother! She has three nephews and two nieces!
  2. She has a French heritage as her parents are originally from France and moved to California, USA.
  3. Her Aunt Teresa Johansson is Captain of the freighter ECS Polaris. Captain Johansson is partially responsible for encouraging Nicole to join Starfleet and pursue her dreams of scientific discovery!
  4. After graduating from Starfleet Training Command (STC), she did not apply to a science post instead she joined the Juno as an armoury officer. She eventually joined the Intrepid as Chief Science Officer for a short amount of time.
  5. Originally she posted on Columbia prior to joining Challenger. Captain Hernandez allowed her to leave Columbia, as she knew that Nicole had made an impression on Burton previously and was happy to share her staff out.
